LoVid's textile designs bridge between tactile and digital; in compositions that include brightly colored electronically produced visuals as well as drawings in ink and oil pastels that mimic the electronic works. LoVid's textiles have been included in their projects, including sculptures and outfits, for over a decade. The digital imagery in the fabric originates from LoVid’s video works and handmade video instrument production, which are used in performances and studio recordings. LoVid Wearables brings media from the screen into the physical realm, to engage with and envelop the body through texture and color.
